We are proud to announce our 122nd Case!

We introduce you to our newest patient: a 25 year old who is studying Law. You receive an A+E letter from the consultant, outlining their concerns with her diabetic control. It mentions that this is her 4th admission in a few months with Ketoacidosis. As a result, she has been booked in to see you. Are you able to work out what’s going on, and help?

New Case Layout

We're excited to introduce a new and improved layout for our case presentations, starting with our latest cases. You'll notice a sleeker design that enhances navigation and focuses on essential information.

Gone is the old vertical drop-down menu for 'Patient,' 'Doctor,' 'Examinations,' 'Marking,' and 'Management.' In its place, we've implemented a more intuitive tab system across the top of the screen. This streamlined approach will facilitate smoother and quicker navigation through the case details.

A significant update in our layout is the removal of the 'Examination' tab. After careful consideration, we're now certain that examinations are not required in the SCA context. Accordingly, we're adapting all our cases to this new standard. Replacing the 'Examination' tab is the 'Key Issues' tab. This tab will provide a concise bullet-point summary of the crucial aspects of each case that you should be aware of and address.

Additionally, we're introducing colour coding to the case layouts, making them more visually appealing and easier to read.

Please note that these changes are currently implemented in our two newest cases. However, we plan to extend these enhancements to all our cases in the future. Your feedback during this transition is invaluable, and we look forward to continuing to improve your experience with our cases.
